In compiling this report, the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) acknowledges that Aboriginal peoples have a spiritual and cultural connection, and an inherent right to protect the land, sky and waterways of NSW. The EPA acknowledges the custodians and honours the ancestors, the Elders both past and present and extends that respect to all Aboriginal peoples.
